When I think of Faith Lutheran School . . . |
|
I think of God, Jesus
and the Holy Spirit. I think of basketball and other sports. I
think of playing football outside in the sun. I think of the
playground outside and the basketball courts. |
I
think of the hot summer days playing football outside or winning
basketball and volleyball games. It reminds me of all the boring science fair experiments that I had to do. I also think of the awesome junior high home room teachers and the cool friends that are here. I also think of the winter ski trips with the junior high classes where we go to Boston Pizza, and all the trips to Prince of Peace in Calgary. • Nathan, 9th grade |
| I think of teachers and students. I
also think of teachers working together to make a safe and healthy
environment for students to get an education. It makes me think
of leaves and seasons and people constantly making friends. It
also makes me think of having to make big changes. ∫• Cheyenne, 8th grade |
I think of early
mornings and homework. I think about the long ride to school
and long hour days. I also think of God's love for each and every
one of us and how He brings us all together to learn and share love. Jesus
loves each and every one of and blesses us all as we gather at school. At
Faith, I feel safe and happy. • Steph, 9th grade |
I think of Jesus
and school. I think of a school that has accepted Jesus as
their Lord and personal Saviour, not one person but as a whole
school. I also think of a normal school with students who have
faith and are guided in the Lord's path. That God has entered
in these teachers and the students are with Jesus through their education. |
I think of the great
education I receive here. I have learned ten years of useful
educational experiences. I also think of the many friends I have
made through the years. I have had many interesting days here. I
also think of pineapples and gravy. • Meagen, 9th grade |
| I think of homework slips, messages
on my answering machine, homework that takes five hours to do and "screeching"
on the chalk boards. • Prashanth, 8th grade |
I think of beautiful
flowers in the front, nice teachers that make our minds grow every
day with knowledge that we will use for the rest of our lives. • Dylon, 9th grade |
| I
think of a few things. I think of my friends, the teachers and
the classes. I have a lot of friends because it's a small school. The
teachers are nice and they help me with what I need help with. The
classes are fun, because we sometime play games that have to do with
the subject and we do experiments. • Stacy, 8th grade |
I think of a caring
environment. I think of educational things, and when I cracked
my head in grade three. People were concerned and thoughtful. Faith
Lutheran School makes me think of work and friends. • Connor, 8th grade |
